The Administrative Assistant position's primary purpose is to support the Director and the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for the School. This position will be responsible for overseeing the general management of the School.
Bachelors degree is required with at least two years of prior work experience in an academic or office environment. Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. The successful candidate must be able to perform under minimal supervision, must be punctual, organized, and pay close attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, take initiative to problem solve, and must respect confidentiality. Demonstration of professionalism, have good communication skills, and strong customer service skills are a must.
