The Department of Sociology at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a full-time, one-year position with possibility of an additional year of renewal as a Visiting Assistant Professor specializing in criminology/criminal justice beginning mid-August 2017. A PhD in criminology, sociology or a related discipline is required by the time of appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience, and includes the option of receiving additional compensation for summer teaching.
