Conduct safety and security program assessments, and risk analysis (threat assessment) for clients.
Manage security technology assessment and implementation projects for clients.
Write comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations
Create, update and enhance client Continuity of Operations plans and Emergency Response Plans and make them compatible and compliant with federal and state guidelines.
Train clients about responding to various emergencies and about the notification systems that will be used.
Develop new business initiatives, e.g., MHA “service packages,” to existing and new clients.
Represent the Company to prospective clients, existing clients, partners, vendors, professional associations, etc.
Benchmark and evaluate value-added services for the Company.
Responsible for providing input for the strategic plan regarding the implementation and usage of security technology for clients.
Bachelors’ degree with five years of related supervisory experience; advanced degree a plus.
Applicants with ASIS Certified Protection Professional or Physical Security Professional designations preferred.
Knowledge of the principles of physical security including mechanical and technological security systems such as security cameras, electronic access control, intrusion and duress alarms, mass notification systems, as well as crime prevention, communications technology, continuity of operations, emergency management, project management, and risk management in the higher education environment.
Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response principles in the higher education and K-12 setting.
Sufficient combination of education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills, talents and strengths required for the position.
Ability to work under significant time constraints and pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able and willing to travel 50% and work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with minimal direct oversight.
