Responsible for operational flow and situational awareness of the San Antonio International Airport Integrated Control Center (AICC). Oversees and manages information that impacts 'day-of' operations for airside, landside, and terminals. Exercises direct communication with AICC dispatchers and Divisional representatives. •Plans, implements, and administers goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the AICC. •Oversees and coordinates usage of airport airside, landside, and terminal operations. •Ensures that 'day-of' operational flow is managed through SOP and published policy. •Ensures the airport operates safely and efficiently. •Recruits, trains, and supervises personnel. •Manages/mitigates irregular operations. •Identifies areas of concern that may impact airport operational flow and ensures interruptions to operations are mitigated as quickly and safely as possible. •Collaborates with Divisional representatives to ensure effective decisions. •Ensures accurate/timely information with stakeholders directly or through telecommunicators. •Escalates decisions to higher authority when necessary. •Facilitates daily 'stand-up' calls and briefings. •Ensures effective pass-on information to oncoming shift.
•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. •Five (5) years of professional experience in the operations of commercial service airports, airport safety, or related experience, including three (3) years of supervisory experience. •This position requires a valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License OR valid driver's license from another state with the ability to obtain a valid Texas Driver's License within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. •Must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Records check upon employment. •Must maintain federally mandated security clearance required to work at an airport at all times. •Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Control center experience. •Airport operations experience.
