The assistant professor is responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. This position is also responsible for academic advising, program design, and student mentoring, and may represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or statewide committees.
Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Terminal degree in law or a closely related field required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
Ability to be organized and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canvas, and CAMS.
